Welcome to the International Community School

ICS is an independent school in London providing a dynamic learning community for 3 to 18 year old learners.

We are an international school where teaching and learning is driven by best practice utilising aspects of the English (Cambridge International Examinations, IGCSE's) and international curriculums (International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, PYP and the Middle Years Programme, MYP). In September 2007, the School will launch an International 'A' Level Programme for university/college bound students.

As an independent school with an international focus we have 65 different nationalities represented within our student body including the UK. With a passion for inclusion, we have developed specialised programmes for those seeking an English Language school or a Special Needs school. We also offer exciting environmental expeditions and trips year-round to our community as well as frequent stays at our Outdoor Education & Environmental Centre in Bawdsey, Suffolk.

An Independent School with an International Focus

Established in 1979, ICS is a small friendly international school in London, with a curriculum that provides for students aged 3 to 18 years. Students and faculty from 65 countries (including the UK ) form a dynamic learning community making ICS one of the most unique independent schools in the UK.

English Language

At the heart of International Community School are our English language students from the age of 3 - 17 years. Throughout the year our community provides, interest, energy, enthusiasm and motivation to a student body who wish to learn English for their long term education. Special Needs

ICS offers a comprehensive program for children and families seeking a special needs school in London. The Special Educational Needs department supports students in all areas of the school and works closely with language support staff.
