For students and families seeking summer school in London, these dynamic and fun programmes help students develop their communicative skills, as well as language skills, grammar and vocabulary. The focus is on real English and enjoyment - there is a warm friendly atmosphere between the teachers and the students.

ICS PROJECT ENGLISH PROGRAMME

The programme’s main focus is development of language and skills through content driven class projects. Learners develop their English through lessons, activities and excursions based around a project, for example ‘The World of Water’, ‘Culture’, 'Food and Drink' etc. Learning is often ‘task-based’, learners practice and develop their language through tasks such as conducting surveys and writing reports. The programme includes a sports programme and a 'Discover London' excursion

Foundation Course PROGRAMME

This is one of the most unique programmes available at any summer school in London. The main focus of the programme is General English using humanistic, communicative methods. As well as General English, learners have opportunities to develop English Through Other Subjects. To compliment these classes, learners are offered English through other subjects and workshops based on Environmental Literacy, Culture, London Living etc. This offers learners an alternative stimulus through which to learn. The programme also offers one ‘Discover London’ experience per week. ‘Discover London ’ is an integrated academic excursion programme consisting of preparation, excursion and follow up. There is also a sports session each week. Optional after school and weekend events may also be available. These are subject to extra cost and to minimum numbers.
